A woman has died in hospital following a serious two-vehicle-crash in East Toowoomba last week.

Just after midnight on March 25, a Ford Fairmont travelling northbound on Mackenzie Street, left the road and crashed into a tree.

An 18-year-old female passenger and 20-year-old male driver were transported to Toowoomba Hospital in a critical condition.

The passenger died in hospital this morning.

The Forensic Crash Unit is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Police appeal to anyone who saw the vehicle prior to the incident, a blue 2007 Ford Fairmont sedan, or has relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.
