Referral Disclaimer

Eligible entrant

1. Any person 18 years or over or who attains the age of 18 years during the Promotion Period is an “eligible entrant”.
2. Carter Capner Law (“CCL”) staff and staff of associated entities are ineligible.

Eligible referral

1. Any legal work referral to CCL (other than as described below) by an eligible entrant where the referred person and CCL sign a client agreement during the promotion period, is an “eligible referral”.
2. The referrer’s identity should be specified at or before the time of the person’s enquiry.
3. Clients or matters referred to but not accepted by CCL in its absolute discretion are ineligible.
   1. Referrals of existing clients or potential clients previously referred are ineligible.
   2. Referral’s not acknowledged by authorized CCL personnel at or before the time of enquiry or referral are ineligible.
   3. Not valid in association with any other CCL promotion or discount offered to referred person.

Number of rewards

1. There is no limit to the number of different referrals an eligible entrant may make during the promotion period.

Classification of reward

1. CCL will classify each eligible referral depending on its assessment of the value to it of the referral:
   1. – Major transaction – $200.00 reward
   2. – Other transaction – $50.00 reward
2. Such allotment is at CCL’s absolute discretion and no correspondence will be entered into.

General conditions

1. CCL reserves the right, at its sole discretion to disqualify from the Promotion any person it considers to be manipulating or tampering with the entry process or using machine, automatic, programmed or similar entry methods.
2. Prizes are not transferable.
3. CCL’s decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
4. The Promotion is conducted in accordance with the laws of the state of Queensland Australia.

Privacy

1. The personal information collected through the Promotion is subject to the CCL’s Privacy Policy
2. By participating in the Promotion each entrant agrees, subject to CCL’s privacy policy, to the future notification by CCL of CCL and related entity news, events and other promotions.
3. The payment of the reward may be disclosed by CCL to the referred person.
