Australians heading to the United States have been advised to watch their words at the border. Peter Carter, Director of Carter Capner Law, told TravelBulletin that while criticism of Donald Trump alone won’t see travellers turned away, openly anti-American comments could.
He emphasised that immigration officials still require valid grounds to deny entry to visitors who would ordinarily be permitted in, but travellers should avoid provocative remarks that might be misinterpreted.
