The provisions of the Legal Profession Act 2007 that restrict what agents may do in relation to preparation of real estate contracts have been relaxed from today.

The most important change is that a PAMDA licensee or their employees are allowed to insert special conditions from a lawyer prepared precedent into contracts. Previously this was potentially an offence under the Legal Profession Act.

LawSpace for Agents & Developers contains a library of commonly used special conditions for use by agents and is accessible online 24/7. LawSpace membership is free to approved applicants.
