Circumstances:
The ASN record states that Qantas flight QF124, a Boeing 737-800 (VH-XZG), and Qantas flight QF1424, the DHC-8-400 (VH-QOC), were involved in a runway incursion at Sydney Airport. The Boeing 737 had landed on runway 34R and was cleared by air traffic control to cross runway 34L while the DHC-8 was in the landing roll on runway 34L. Air traffic control identified the conflict and advised both crews, with the Boeing 737 stopping after the holding point.
