Circumstances:

On September 2, 2025, a Jabiru SPT 500 SPT-6 was involved in a landing accident at Cunnamulla Airport, Queensland.

During touchdown, the aircraft suddenly veered sharply to the left. The pilot was unable to regain directional control, resulting in a ground loop. The aircraft sustained minor damage from the event, but no injuries to the occupants were reported.

Recreational Aviation Australia (RAAus) recorded the occurrence and classified the damage as minor. The incident serves as a reminder of the handling challenges associated with light sport aircraft during landing roll, particularly in crosswind or uneven surface conditions.
