Circumstances:

The remotely piloted aircraft was conducting agricultural aerial spraying operations west of Coffs Harbour. While manoeuvring at low level, the RPAS struck a powerline.

The impact caused the aircraft to deviate from controlled flight and collide with the ground shortly afterwards. No injuries occurred as the aircraft was unmanned.

The RPAS sustained substantial damage, and the occurrence was reported to the ATSB for documentation and monitoring.
