Circumstances:

The aircraft was at Melbourne Airport preparing for departure to Taipei when the occurrence took place while the aircraft was stationary at the gate. At the time of the event, the Airbus A350-941 was in contact with the aerobridge.

During the ground occurrence, the aircraft rolled backwards while still connected to the aerobridge. As a result, damage was caused to the left forward passenger door.

The aircraft sustained minor damage. No injuries or fatalities were reported in the available information.
