The collision, which happened just before 6:00 pm on June 28, 2025, caused significant property damage. The vehicle then fled the scene toward Lilly Street. No injuries were reported.

Investigation
The Queensland Police Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the hit and run. Investigators are reviewing:
- CCTV footage from surrounding businesses and homes
- Dashcam submissions from vehicles in the area prior to and after 6:00 pm
- The trajectory and possible origin of the fleeing white Holden Ute
The Holden Ute involved remains outstanding as of the time of reporting. Reference number QP2501140529 has been assigned to the investigation.
