Incident Overview
A fatal two-vehicle crash occurred in the Collinsville area at Springlands on Wednesday afternoon, September 10, 2025. At approximately 12:30 pm, a silver Mazda 2 travelling west along Peter Delemothe Road collided head-on with a white Toyota Hilux travelling in the opposite direction, between Strathalbyn and Strathmore Roads. The driver of the Mazda, a 63-year-old Collinsville man, and his passenger, a 61-year-old Collinsville woman, both died at the scene. The driver of the Toyota sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital.
