Incident Overview
A serious collision between a truck and a car caused major disruptions to both road and rail services in Perth’s south on Thursday, 4 December. The crash occurred in the southbound lanes of the Kwinana Freeway near Cockburn Station just before 1pm. The car was left severely damaged, and debris covered multiple lanes. Rail infrastructure was impacted, halting Mandurah line train services for several hours. A woman was taken to hospital in a stable condition. The freeway and rail line have since reopened, though train services initially resumed with delays.

Community Impact
