Introduction

A 50-year-old man is in serious condition after being struck by a vehicle in an alleged hit-and-run incident in Bowden, an inner northern suburb of Adelaide.

Crash Overview

The incident occurred around 7:50 pm on Monday on Hawker Street in Bowden. The pedestrian was hit by a vehicle that subsequently fled the scene before police arrived. The victim sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Investigation

South Australian Police are investigating the Adelaide hit-and-run. They are particularly interested in speaking to the drivers of two vehicles seen in the area at the time of the crash: a white sedan, possibly a Holden ZB or a Mazda 6, and a dark-colored convertible, possibly a Mercedes. Both vehicles were observed at the intersection of Park Terrace and Hawker Street.
