Incident Overview
A 36-year-old man from Kallangur has been charged following a fatal traffic crash at Bald Hills , Queensland, on Sunday, April 13, 2025 , at approximately 9:40 pm . The crash occurred on the Gympie Arterial Road , where a Toyota Hiace van collided with two stationary vehicles—a Hyundai iMax and a Honda Odyssey —that were parked on the shoulder of the right lane.
A female occupant of the Honda Odyssey tragically died at the scene. The driver of the Toyota Hiace has been charged with dangerous operation causing death and driving without a license . He is scheduled to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Thursday, April 17, 2025 .
