Incident Overview
A man has died following a single-vehicle crash at Mount Louisa in Townsville on Saturday evening, October 18, 2025.

Initial investigations indicate that at around 6:30 pm, a maroon Ford Falcon sedan was travelling along Ingham Road when it veered off the roadway and went down an embankment. Emergency services arrived to find four men inside the vehicle.

A 30-year-old man from Kirwan, who was a passenger, sustained critical injuries and was declared deceased at the scene. The driver, a 31-year-old Mount Louisa man, and two other passengers — aged 21 and 22, both from Kirwan — were transported to hospital as a precaution.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the cause of the crash and is appealing for witnesses or dashcam footage from the area.
