Introduction
A man in his 30s has been seriously injured after his arm became trapped in machinery during a workplace accident in Fairy Bower, Rockhampton.

The incident took place at a site on Old Nine Mile Rd at approximately 9:10 am on Wednesday. The Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) was called to the scene, where critical care paramedics assessed the worker’s significant arm injury.

Following the accident, the injured man was transported in a serious condition to Rockhampton Hospital. Queensland Police briefly attended the site before departing. Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) has launched an investigation into the incident.
