A 27-year-old worker tragically lost his life in a workplace accident at a Myer distribution facility in Ravenhall, Melbourne, on Monday. The incident marks the 28th workplace death in Victoria this year.

Investigation and Response

Emergency services responded to the scene, but the worker was pronounced dead. WorkSafe Victoria is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Myer’s executive chair, Olivia Wirth, expressed condolences to the worker’s family, friends, and colleagues and assured them of the company’s full support. Myer is also cooperating with WorkSafe’s investigation.
