Tragic Workplace Incidents Claim Lives of Two Men in Western Australia

On Wednesday, 8 April 2024, two men were killed in separate workplace incidents in Western Australia. A man in his 20s died in a forklift accident at Huggett Drive, Dalwallinu at approximately 12:40 pm, and a 32-year-old man was fatally crushed while working in an elevating work platform basket at a construction site in O’Connor at approximately 2:40 pm.

WorkSafe WA has initiated investigations into both incidents to determine the causes and identify any breaches of workplace safety standards.
