Introduction

A man in his 70s has had his leg partially amputated following a horrific workplace accident in Sefton, Western Sydney, where he fell into machinery and became trapped.

Firefighters from Burwood Fire Station were called to the scene to free the man from the machinery. Paramedics treated him at the scene before transporting him to the hospital.
