On Tuesday, 19 June 2024, a man was trampled by a cow during a weekly cattle sale at Warwick Saleyards, west of Brisbane in Queensland. He sustained a head injury and was transported to Warwick Hospital in stable condition.
Queensland Ambulance Service attended the scene and provided initial treatment. Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) was notified of the incident.
Workplace Health and Safety Queensland is appealing for any witnesses or workers present at Warwick Saleyards on Tuesday, 19 June 2024 between 8:00 am and 9:00 am who have information about the incident to come forward. Reports can be made to WHSQ on 1300 362 128.
