Introduction
A man has suffered serious leg injuries after being crushed by metal beams in a workplace accident south of Brisbane, prompting an investigation by authorities.

Details of the Incident
The incident occurred just after 9am on Friday at a worksite on Burchill Street in Loganholme. The man, believed to be in his 50s, was reportedly injured when steel beams fell onto his legs after being dropped by a forklift.

Emergency Response and Medical Treatment
Paramedics arrived at the scene promptly and treated the worker for significant injuries to his lower limbs. He was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.

Investigation and Safety Measures
Queensland Police’s Forensic Crash Unit has launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the accident. Workplace Health and Safety Queensland has also been notified and is expected to conduct a parallel review of the worksite’s safety practices.
