Ferry services between the Isle of Wight and Southampton, England, have been suspended indefinitely due to Storm Herminia. Red Funnel, the ferry operator, canceled both car and foot passenger services due to adverse weather conditions.
Storm Herminia brought high winds and power outages to the southwest of England on January 26th, 2025. The Met Office issued weather warnings for wind and rain, exacerbating conditions already impacted by Storm Eowyn earlier in the week.
These cancellations add to ongoing disruptions to Red Funnel’s fast vessel service, which had been adjusted prior to the storm’s arrival.
