Emergency services were called to the banks of North Pine Dam near Samsonvale after a light aircraft made a forced landing at around 9:00am. The aircraft came to rest in a boggy area, and multiple emergency crews were dispatched to the scene.

The pilot, a man in his 70s, was assessed by Queensland Ambulance personnel before being airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. He was reported to be in a stable condition.
