Circumstances:
**The Whitney Scamp biplane, known as “Casper” and equipped with a 110hp Rotec R2800 engine, crashed near Degan Road, close to Boonah Airport, Scenic Rim, Queensland. The incident occurred under unknown circumstances, resulting in the aircraft’s destruction. The pilot, the sole occupant, sustained minor injuries and was hospitalized. Emergency services responded to the scene to assist the pilot, who was briefly trapped in the wreckage but later transported in stable condition to Princess Alexandra Hospital.**
