Circumstances:

**During a landing attempt at Katanning Airport in Western Australia, a Micro Aviation Bantam B22S encountered gusty wind conditions that led to loss of directional control. After completing two precautionary circuits on runway 25 due to challenging 7kt gusting Southerly crosswinds, the pilot attempted a landing on the third circuit. The aircraft became partially oriented into the wind and skewed to the approach line. Efforts to straighten the aircraft near the ground were thwarted by a gusty crosswind, resulting in rapid control adjustments. Upon touchdown, the aircraft’s orientation caused the tires to resist against the bitumen surface, flipping the aircraft inverted, though damage was reported as minor.**
