On 21st September 2023, during a training session at Bankstown Airport in NSW, a Guimbal Cabri G2 helicopter experienced a mechanical failure, leading to a crash landing. Despite the substantial damage to the aircraft, both the instructor and the student pilot managed to exit the wreckage unharmed.
