Circumstances:

On July 26, 2025, Fiji Airways flight FJ923, a Boeing 737 MAX 8 registered DQ-FAE, sustained minor damage after being struck by an aerobridge while parked at Brisbane International Airport (BNE), Queensland.
The incident occurred after the aircraft had arrived from Nadi International Airport, Fiji. While stationary at the gate during passenger disembarkation, the aerobridge reportedly made contact with the aircraft’s forward fuselage area, resulting in damage to the left-hand cockpit windscreen.

There were no injuries reported among passengers or crew. The aircraft was temporarily taken out of service for inspection and repairs. No major delays or operational disruptions at the airport were reported.

Further investigation into the aerobridge contact has not yet been formally confirmed by authorities.
