**On March 18, 2024, a private Fisher Mark 1 kit built aircraft encountered a power loss during cruise, leading to an emergency landing in a paddock near Mount Colliery, QLD. The pilot, who was the sole occupant, managed to execute the forced landing without sustaining any injuries. The aircraft, however, suffered minor damage. This incident involved a light aircraft on the recreational register and therefore did not fall under the direct investigation remit of the Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB). Despite this, the pilot’s adept handling of the situation prevented any potential serious outcomes.**
