Circumstances:

The aircraft was conducting a training flight at Parafield Airport in Adelaide. During the landing phase, the light aircraft crashed on or near the runway environment.

Following the impact, a fire developed and the Cessna 172M Skyhawk was destroyed. Emergency services attended the scene.

The sole pilot on board was able to exit the aircraft and was not injured. No further details regarding the sequence of events have been publicly released.
