Circumstances:
Qantas flight QF124, a Boeing 737-800 (VH-XZG), and Qantas flight QF1424, a DHC-8-400 (VH-QOC), were involved in a runway incursion incident at Sydney Airport (SYD), Australia.
The Boeing 737 had landed on runway 34R. Air traffic control cleared the flight to cross runway 34L while the DHC-8 was in the landing roll on runway 34L. Air traffic control detected the conflict and advised both crews, with the Boeing 737 stopping after the holding point.
