Circumstances:

Delta Air Lines flight DL41 was operating a scheduled passenger service from Los Angeles to Sydney. During descent towards Sydney, the Airbus A350-941 encountered brief turbulence while en route east of Sydney Airport.

The turbulence resulted in five people sustaining injuries, reported as minor. Reports stated three of the injured were taken to hospital for further treatment.
