Circumstances:

During landing at The Oaks Airfield, the Aeroprakt A22LS Foxbat encountered a sudden crosswind. The pilot attempted to go around to avoid further veering from the runway centreline, but the crosswind led to a loss of directional control. The aircraft exited the runway, contacted terrain and was reported destroyed. No injuries were reported.
