A 20-year-old woman has died and three others were injured after a car struck a power pole and rolled at Karangi, north-west of Coffs Harbour. Police said the vehicle flipped on impact, with two occupants trapped in the wreckage.

Emergency Response

The crash damaged power infrastructure, leaving nine homes without electricity overnight. Essential Energy crews worked to replace the power pole and restore access, with one lane expected to reopen around midday and repairs continuing into the afternoon.
