Introduction
Western Australia has experienced a devastating series of crashes within a short period, resulting in one fatality and two drivers fighting for their lives. The incidents occurred in Wattle Grove, Badgingarra, and Parmelia, prompting investigations by the Major Crash unit.

Wattle Grove Crash Overview
A 21-year-old man tragically died in a fiery crash on Welshpool Road East in Wattle Grove, southeast of Perth, around 10:25 PM on Monday, August 5th, 2024. His white Holden Commodore veered off the road and struck a tree, causing the vehicle to burst into flames. A burning tree also fell near emergency responders during their attempts to free the driver.

Badgingarra Head-On Collision
In a separate incident, two drivers are in critical condition after a head-on collision on Brand Highway in Badgingarra, 200 kilometers north of Perth, around 7:30 AM on Tuesday, August 6th. A brown Holden Commodore collided with a blue Mazda CX-5, resulting in serious injuries to both drivers, aged 40 and 32.

Parmelia Motorcycle Crash
Another crash occurred in Parmelia, south of Perth, around 12:45 AM on Tuesday. A red sedan and a black Hyosung motorcycle collided at the intersection of Mears Avenue and Challenger Avenue. The motorcycle rider suffered serious leg injuries and was taken to Royal Perth Hospital.

Investigation and Appeals
The Major Crash unit is investigating all three crashes. They are urging anyone who witnessed the incidents or has information to contact Crime Stoppers.
