A 19-year-old e-bike rider was critically injured in a collision at Wynnum on Thursday, 9 July 2026.

Location and Time

The collision occurred near the intersection of Claymeade Street and Sandy Camp Road shortly after 6pm.

Vehicles Involved

The collision involved an e-bike and a utility.

Injuries

The rider sustained critical injuries and was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital. The 43-year-old man driving the utility and his two teenage passengers were not physically injured.

Police are investigating the circumstances of the collision.
