A two-vehicle crash at an intersection in Sydney’s southwest has resulted in one woman being critically injured and four others requiring hospitalization. The incident happened around 9:15 pm on Friday, September 6, 2024.
Details of the Leppington Crash
The collision involved a Toyota Kluger and a Mitsubishi vehicle at the traffic light intersection of Bringelly Road and Edmondson Avenue in Leppington. The driver of the Toyota, a 57-year-old woman, was trapped in the wreckage for a short time before being freed by emergency crews. She was treated by paramedics at the scene and taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition.
Her passengers, a 63-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman, were also taken to Westmead Hospital for further assessment. The driver of the Mitsubishi, a 26-year-old woman, and her 27-year-old female front passenger were transported to Liverpool Hospital for further assessment as well.
Investigation and Appeal
