The station wagon, driven by an 87-year-old man, left a carpark and crashed into a tree on Gympie Road.

Injuries/Fatalities

The 80-year-old female passenger sustained leg injuries and was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, where she later died after suffering a medical episode. The 87-year-old male driver was not physically injured.

Emergency Response

Emergency services attended the scene and transported the injured woman to the hospital.
