Warana double-fatal collision
A pedestrian and a motorbike rider died in a collision on Nicklin Way at Warana on Saturday, 25 July 2026.
Incident Details
Initial police enquiries indicated a pedestrian was crossing Nicklin Way at about 8.12pm when she was struck by a motorbike travelling south.
Deaths
The pedestrian, a 68-year-old Warana woman, and the rider, a 30-year-old Golden Beach man, were declared dead at the scene.
Witness Appeal
Police later said the rider and pillion of another motorbike seen nearby may be able to assist. They appealed for those two people, and anyone with information or dashcam footage from about 7.50pm to 8.10pm, to come forward.
