Incident Overview
A 41-year-old man has been charged with two counts of manslaughter following a fatal crash in Regents Park, south of Brisbane, on Sunday, 17 August 2025. The crash claimed the lives of a 33-year-old man and his four-year-old son.

- Driver: 41-year-old Regents Park man, not physically injured, taken into custody
Crash Description
Emergency services responded after reports that a ute struck two pedestrians on Green Road. Both victims, a father and son, tragically died at the scene. Police took the driver into custody immediately following the crash.
Investigation and Charges
The Forensic Crash Unit, alongside Logan District Child Protection and Investigation Unit, led the inquiry. Police charged the 41-year-old driver, Trevor William Galbraith, with two counts of manslaughter.
He was remanded in custody after his matter was briefly mentioned at Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Monday, 18 August. The case has been adjourned until 20 October 2025.

Police are urging anyone with dashcam footage or information about the ute prior to the crash to contact investigators.
