Detectives have charged a man following two traffic incidents in Drewvale and Browns Plains.
It will be alleged around 6.30pm on April 25 a Toyota Landcruiser intentionally rammed the rear of a Ford Focus on the Logan Motorway at Drewvale.
The driver allegedly fired a weapon towards the occupants of the Ford Focus. A female passenger in the rear of the Ford Focus sustained a minor leg injury from the projectile.
It will be further alleged around 12.30pm on May 1, the same Toyota Landcruiser collided with the rear of a parked Ford Focus on Grand Plaza Drive, Browns Plains before driving off.
It is believed the driver mistakenly thought it was the Ford Focus from the April 25 incident.
Police yesterday located the man at a Regents Park address after information was received through CrimeStoppers.
He was taken into custody by specialist police without incident and a search of the house located three firearms including a shortened shotgun.
A 30-year-old Logan Reserve man has been charged with two counts each of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, disqualified driving and fail to provided details at traffic crash. He has also been charged with one count each of discharge weapon in a public place, carry loaded weapon in public place and wounding.
He was refused bail and will appear via videolink in the Richlands Magistrates Court on Monday, May 8.
The white Toyota Landcruiser involved in both incidents is yet to be recovered and detectives are urging anyone with information in relation to the location of the vehicle to contact police.
