A 55-year-old man has passed away this morning in the Rockhampton Base Hospital after he was critically injured in a serious traffic crash that occurred in St. Lawrence in early November.
Early investigations indicate a truck left the Bruce Highway and crashed into a tree near Wumalgi Road around 7am on November 7.
At the time the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 55-year-old Rural View man, was flown to Rockhampton Base Hospital in a critical condition.
The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating the crash and police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
