The pedestrian was hit at the intersection of Chambers Flat Road and Bourke Street around 8:19pm on 20 November. He suffered serious head, chest, pelvic and leg injuries and died in hospital two days later. Police confirmed the driver initially left the scene but later returned and is assisting with enquiries.
