An 82-year-old Morningside man has died after being struck by a ute in the car park of the Cannon Hill Bunnings store on Saturday, 29 November. Emergency services were called to the shopping centre off Creek Road around 10am, where the man was located with critical head injuries. He was transported to hospital but later died. The driver of the grey Mitsubishi Triton, a 24-year-old Carindale man, was not physically injured. Police investigations are continuing.
