Police investigating a fatal traffic crash in Columboola in early March have charged a man.

Following an extensive investigation, Dalby officers charged the alleged driver of a utility involved in the crash with one count of dangerous driving causing death.

The 20-year-old Willanda man was issued with a Notice to Appear in Chinchilla Magistrates Court on Thursday June 22.

Police responded to the crash involving two motorbikes and a utility along Brownlies Road on Saturday March 4 around 10am.

One rider, a a 50-year-old Mount Hallen man sustained serious injuries and died at the scene.

The other rider, an 18-year-old Mount Hallen man sustained an arm fracture and other injuries.

Investigations continue.
