The Forensic Crash Unit have charged a 17-year-old female following an investigation into a fatal two-vehicle traffic crash at Purga in May.
Police responded to reports of a traffic crash on Ipswich Boonah Road around 5.45pm on Thursday, May 16.
It will be alleged, the Toyota Rav4 was travelling north along Ipswich Boonah Road when it veered onto the wrong side of the road, striking a Toyota Hilux.
Six people, three in one car, and three in the other, were taken to hospital.
One of the passengers of the Toyota Hilux, a 25-year-old woman, was transported to Ipswich Hospital with serious injuries.
Her unborn baby died as a result of the crash.
The alleged driver of the Toyota Rav4, a 17-year-old Boonah female, was charged with one count of driving without due care and attention causing death.
She will be mentioned in Ipswich Childrens Court on Tuesday, November 19.
