A 27-year-old man has passed away today following a traffic crash between a car he was travelling in as a passenger and a parked prime mover in Dalby on November 1.

Initial investigations indicate that around 1:25am a silver-coloured Holden Commodore sedan collided with the rear of a parked prime mover on Nicholson Street.

The driver of the car, a 23-year-old woman died at the scene, November 1, whilst the 27-year-old passenger was initially transported to Toowoomba hospital in a critical condition and later transported to the Princess Alexander Hospital where he passed away.

Investigators are renewing appeals for anyone who may have seen the Holden Commodore in the area at the time, or who may have relevant dash-cam footage to contact police.

The Forensic Crash Unit investigation is continuing.
