An 83-year-old woman has died following a traffic crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian at Blacks Beach, north of Mackay. Police say the woman was struck by a utility on Blacks Beach Road on the afternoon of 16 January and was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. She passed away several days later, on 20 January. The Forensic Crash Unit is continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
