A man has had his charge upgraded following the death of a man in a traffic crash in Kogan, near Dalby.

Police will allege on May 30, the driver of the Nissan X-Trail deliberately rammed a Holden Colorado from behind, causing the Colorado to roll onto its side.

Three people were injured in the crash, including a 22-year-old Goranba man, who was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.

The man passed away in hospital yesterday, May 30.

The 36-year-old Tara man was initially charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle causing grievous bodily harm.

His charges have since been upgraded to one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder.

He is due to appear before Dalby Magistrates Court today, June 1.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or may have dashcam to assist the investigation is urged to contact police.
