Incident Overview
Police are appealing for information after a pedestrian struck in Waterford West on Thursday, 20 November, has died in hospital. Emergency services were called to the intersection of Chambers Flat Road and Bourke Street around 8:19pm after a white Holden Colorado dual cab struck a 29-year-old Loganlea man. The driver, a 25-year-old Redland Bay man, initially left the scene but later returned and is assisting police. The pedestrian was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital with serious injuries but has since died. The Forensic Crash Unit continues to investigate.
