The collision involved two vehicles: a Holden Commodore and a white Holden Captiva.
Crash Description
The Holden Commodore was traveling northbound on the Forrest Highway, while the white Holden Captiva was traveling southbound in the wrong direction. The two vehicles collided head-on, resulting in a fiery crash. The Forrest Highway is a dual-lane carriageway with a median strip separating the northbound and southbound lanes, making it unclear how one of the vehicles ended up traveling in the wrong direction.
Injuries/Fatalities
Both drivers, a 41-year-old woman and a 45-year-old woman, were fatally injured and died at the scene.

Emergency services, including police, firefighters, and ambulances, attended the scene. Witnesses reported seeing cars engulfed in flames, indicating the severity of the crash.
