Two women died after an alleged stolen car crashed into an Alfa Romeo in Sydney\’s south-west. Police allege the driver had earlier stolen a red sedan during an incident at a service station before being tracked by officers and a police helicopter.

Emergency Response
- NSW Police attended and established several crime scenes; a police helicopter tracked the vehicle prior to the crash.
- The 31-year-old man was arrested at gunpoint on Nepean Avenue, Camden, and taken to Campbelltown Hospital for mandatory testing before being taken to Campbelltown Police Station.

Police Investigation
The crash is under investigation, with police establishing multiple crime scenes. The investigation will be reviewed by the Professional Standards Command and overseen by the Law Enforcement Conduct Commission.
- A 31-year-old man has been charged with 11 offences, including two counts of dangerous driving causing death, two counts of aggravated dangerous driving causing death, and failing to stop after a vehicle impact that caused death.
- He was refused bail and is due to appear in court on Saturday, 15 February 2026.
